Dr. Wayne Dobbins is one of the few dentists in North America to be residency trained in both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. He is an active member in many dental associations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Association of Orthodontics. Dr. Dobbins is always eager to learn the latest and most innovative techniques to assist with treatment. He has an individualized approach and the compilation of extensive dental expertise that plays a vital role in treatment planning and design.

Dr. Dobbins was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.00 GPA from Arizona State University. Following his undergraduate education, he took a two-year hiatus to volunteer as a missionary for his church in Boston, Massachusetts. After, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and later earned an orthodontic certificate from the University of the Oklahoma, the top orthodontic training program in the country. He followed this time by working as an orthodontist in Overland Park and then finishing a pediatric dental residency at New York University.

Dr. Dobbins enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. His hobbies include an array of sports and outdoor activities. He and his family are active members of their local church and feel blessed to call Overland Park their home.
