Do I Need A Referral?
Yes. All patients require a referral from their dentist or physician before scheduling a procedure. After your dentist or physician has evaluated you and submitted a referral, you will be contacted by our staff to schedule your procedure at the earliest available date.
When Should I Arrive For My Procedure?
In most cases, it is required that you arrive at least one to two hours before your scheduled procedure. Our team will contact you directly to discuss and confirm your arrival time as well as any additional pre-operative instructions.
Does a Parent, Guardian, or Other Responsible Adult Need to Remain at the Facility During the Procedure?
Yes. During the procedure, questions about the patient’s dental or medical care may arise. A parent, legal guardian, or other responsible adult must remain available to answer these questions and make any necessary treatment decisions.
Please note that some procedures may last several hours. In such cases, we recommended deciding carefully who to bring with you to the facility.
Is Anyone Else Allowed in the Room During the Procedure?
No. To maintain a safe, sterile environment and comply with healthcare regulations, only authorized clinical staff are permitted in the operating room. Parents, legal guardians, or other responsible adults are encouraged to stay with the patient before the procedure and in the recovery area following the completion of treatment.
When Can I Resume Normal Activity After Surgery or Anesthesia?
Recovery time varies depending on the type of procedure and anesthesia received. If you’ve had sedation or general anesthesia, do not drive, drink, operate heavy machinery, or make important life decisions for at least 24 hours. Follow the post-operative instructions given to you following completion of the procedure and contact us directly if you have any questions or concerns.
